Female characters will portray lesser fighting style and will not be given much focus on their body parts. Recently, "Street Fighter 5" added a tutorial to the beta version of the game. Eurogamer has provided an official statement clarifying that many players noticed the changes in gaming style of female characters as they were no longer slapping rear end before attacking an opponent.

This particular change in style was observed with character R, and soon after such a visible change, many people took to internet and complained such a change as part of censorship. However, it is also noted that games in "Street Fighter" series have always been known to objectify female characters, and this is one among the most prominent reason for the game's success among teens.

However, Gamespot recently confirmed that developer Capcom is trying to create a brand new series that is more appropriate to younger audience. Brian Ayers, brand manager for Capcom, revealed that they are working together to make the game accessible and also creating a new look and feel to each character. The gaming company is also in the hope of attracting large crowds to the new season to also participate in tournaments.

In spite of rumours and speculations, gamers have come up with an opinion that change in female characters will dull the entire season.
