This summer, Samsung introduced two new models to its mid range smart phone catalogue - Samsung Galaxy J5 and J7. Both Samsung Galaxy J5 and Samsung Galaxy J7 look identical and offer almost similar features, although, Samsung Galaxy J5 seems to be smaller and employs weaker processor.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 has a display size of 142.1*71.8*7.99mm while the Galaxy J7 exhibits a display size of 152.2*78.7*7.5mm and weighs around 171 grams. Although both have removable plastic cover, both models share metal frame making it durable and safe. Volume button is placed on the left side and power button is on the right side and that too at a convenient hand friendly space.

Both Samsung Galaxy J5 and Samsung Galaxy J7 is available in three different colors: white, black and gold. Galaxy J5 is fitted in 5-inch panel providing higher pixel density, while J7 shares size panel of 5.5-inch screen. Galaxy J5 and J7 have 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras with autofocus and LED flash feature. Both devices are also loaded with Lollipop 5.1 version and offers option for 14 different regional languages, along with a power saving mode.

When it comes to memory feature, Galaxy J5 is available in two different variants with storage space of 8GB and 16GB, while J7 has an internal storage memory of 16GB; however, both models can also be expanded up to 128GB. Both devices have batteries that are compatible with their handset dimensions. In terms of affordability, Galaxy J5 is priced at $210 while J7 is priced at $242 in Amazon retail shopping site.

On a closer analysis of both models, Samsung Galaxy J7 offers better deal for the price paid.
