Game developer Treyarch has released new updates for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" along with the changes in weapons and current modes of the hardcore game.

The game studio emphasized that this current "Black Ops 3" version, 33.12.15.1, is a hotfix than a total game update which is made available for PlayStation 4, PC as well as Xbox One.

Among the major changes that were made was the weapon balancing, although the complete details about the way some guns were tweaked were not revealed yet by Treyarch. The only thing mentioned in a given list was that these guns were either made stronger or weaker in a few ways.

Treyarch's director for game designs, David Vonderhaar, gave some details on the type of things which would have become different in the update for "Black Ops 3". He said that most of the revisions made were only minimal, ranging from the size of the clips to an array of damage, from the in and out adjustments of the ADS to the alterations to the Quickdraw Bonus for the LMG's or recoil deductions, Express reported.

Treyarch further revealed earlier about their plan to widen the modes of the hardcore game that comes in rotation along with Domination and Kill Confirmed that have returned in "Black Ops 3". This hardcore gameplay has a strong following that when it seemed to have been taken out, the fans gave an adverse response, Tech Times reported.
Vonderhaar explained the reason why these appeared to have been left out and hinted the possibility of being another removal once the number of population dips reaches the stage where these are no longer sustainable. He also admitted being a hardcore fan as well as the rest of their team. But according to him, the hardcore is a legacy system of how the game is played to support the respect for its place and heritage in the Call of Duty.
