When The Clash of Clans (COC) Christmas Update Will Be Released? 10 Major Changes To Expect From The Upgrade

This Holiday season is going to be extra special for Clash of Clans (COC) fans. Rumours suggest that developers will release the biggest update for Supercell's mobile-strategy game for Android, iOS and Windows players just in time for Christmas. The Christmas Clash of Clans (COC) update is expected to bring lots of change in the gameplay with some improved and some new features. It is also said that the new patch will have something for everyone and it aims to change the way Clashers plays the game.

1.    According to the recent announcement from Supercell staff member on Supercell forum there will be changes to the shields that allows the player to keep their village safe from invasion. It also gives villages cool-down-time after the raid.

2.    But fans can expect to enjoy a new feature called "Village Guard." It is expected to act as shields and guard the village. However, details about it remain unknown.

3.    Expect changes in session timers and the Personal Break.

4.    Modification in some important features such as multiple matchmaking is also expected in the winter update.

5.    Clashers can also expect to enjoy better league bonuses as well as improvement in High-level Trophy calculations.

6.    Rumours suggest that finally the Clash community will gets its much-awaited Town Hall 11. It happens to be the most anticipated changes in the new update. Earlier, it was said that the new Town Hall will have bird-like shape. However, new reports suggest that it will be a white building with open top. As reported by All Clash, the new Town Hall can be unlocked at level 11 without any building time. Clashers will not have to wait for days before new 4X4 tiles Town Hall is completed.

7.    The New Town Hall is expected to bring with it new Defence unit and new troops. These new arrivals are speculated to be more powerful than its previous versions. Level 8 barbarians are speculated to be added to the troops.

8.    More rumours suggest the introduction of Third Hero. Besides the Archer Queen and Barbarian king, fans will have a third warrior in their villages. Rampant speculations suggest that the third hero is wizard like character that will be available for 6 million elixir. More reports say it will be a staff-wielding mage.

9. Clashers can expect to enjoy bigger territory measuring 44 X 44 squares. The village size will grow and the territories will expand with more walls and probably new buildings. Word is, the December Clash of Clans update will also introduce a Gem Mine that will produce small amounts of gems for players to use.  

10. Further, the upgrade is speculated to enable the loot sharing. This feature will allow the players to use donate or share the loot to their friends.

Meanwhile, fans are wondering when the Clash of Clans (COC) update will be released. Several media outlets are speculating that the DLC will roll out immediately after 2 week sneak peek event. Meanwhile, Latin Post is reporting that upgrade will be released on the Christmas day. However, Supercell is yet to reveal the official release date and have reported a delay on its forum.
