The svelte Kate Upton was named the Sexiest Woman Alive by the People Magazine at their awards ceremony, which was held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
At the ceremony, Upton was stylishly dressed in a black leather ensemble that accentuated her figure and curves to perfection. She accessorized her dress with to-kill-for pumps. Her award was handed over by "Grey's Anatomy" actor Eric Dane, who praised her poise, style and personality.
While accepting the award, Upton said that it meant a lot to her because in her dictionary, someone who is happy and confident is automatically sexy.
Jennifer Aniston also won the Movie Performance of the Year award for her stellar performance in the movie "Cake." She has already bagged a Critics Choice Award nomination and another nomination for a Golden Globe for the film and this just adds to the icing on the cake. The audience applauded her win with a standing ovation, which touched the 45-years old actress to the core of her heart.
The main host of the event was none other than Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon. He was ably assisted in his duties by Lisa Kudrow, Gwen Stefani, Kate Hudson, Jimmy Fallon, Jennifer Lopez and Karlie Kloss. It was a gala event in which numerous performers such as 5 Seconds of Summer, Gwen Stefani, Maroon 5 and Pharrell Williams performed.
Jennifer Lopez also attended the ceremony and was also dressed to kill in a golden jumpsuit with a plunging front. She was honored with the "Triple Threat Award" and she received it from Ryan Guzman. In her acceptance speech, she got emotional when she started talking about the demise of comedian Robin Williams.
