Lebron James has reportedly changed the Cleveland Cavaliers pregame routine for the team to get more "focused" and "ready" ahead of a game.

According to Cleveland.com, the Cavs are skipping the traditional routine of walking up the runway high-fiving one another as the public address announcer introduce their each of the team's starters.

What James opted instead is having his teammates in a huddle with coach David Blatt in the middle to go over their strategy during game time.

"It's just about being focused and preparing for the game," James said.

"It's about playing the game the right way and your approach."

The Cavs are sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference standings with a win-loss record of 10-3.

However, prior to their 109-97 victory over the Atlanta Hawks and the Milwaukee Bucks, the Cavs suffered back-to-back losses against the Detroit Pistons and the Bucks, which sparked Lebron to impose such atmosphere within the team.

In the stint of their two-game losing streak, James also called out his teammates to play better. The two-time NBA champ said it is nothing like the "Armageddon," but insisted his teammates should play better basketball if they want to get a shot at the NBA Finals, reports ESPN.

The Cavs new pregame routine looks a bit unusual, but it has been effective so far after they won their last two games.

James revealed that they plan to continue skipping the lineup introduction part if it proves to play a part in the Cavs' winning ways.
