The tension between Sacramento Kings coach George Karl and DeMarcus Cousins continue to build, and according to a report, the former is likely the candidate to get evicted from the organization.

The Kings are off to a terrible start in the 2015-2016 NBA regular season, joining other struggling teams at the bottom of the league standings with a 4-9 slate. But the Kings have more than just their campaign to worry about as Karl and Cousins begin to clash amid the team's dreadful start.

Cousins has reportedly erupted in a profanity-laced tirade directed at Karl, creating more than enough chaos for the Kings to handle.

While the situation suggests the Kings would probably move Cousins, which was allegedly Karl's plan last season, Sacramento seems to lean in the trend of firing coaches.

According to Basketball Insiders, sources close to the Kings' ownership revealed it is more likely that Karl is removed as coach than Cousins being traded to another NBA team.

It has been a trend around the league firing coaches after poor starts into the regular season. If the Kings follow this kind of coaching changes, Kevin McHale could be the fitting candidate to replace Karl.

McHale was sacked by the Houston Rockets after a 4-7 start into the season, but according to Dan Feldman of NBC Sports, it was mostly because of James Harden's inconsistency and struggles.

McHale has carried the Rockets to three straight playoff appearances ever since he took over as the team's head coach.

Last season, Mchale looked like he would secure his coaching job with Houston after taking the Rockets to its first Conference Finals appearance since 1997 and signing a three-year $12 million extension contract.

McHale, known best for honing big men's basketball skills, could fix Cousins emotionally and work his game out physically just like what he did with Dwight Howard in Houston.

This speculation may be intriguing to the Kings fans as it would give the franchise a chance to recuperate from the mishaps in their first few games, but Sacramento may have stick with Karl as McHale has reportedly want to take some time off of the basketball coaching scene, reports USA Today.
