Sony is leading the charge with the PlayStation 4 as the console has moved into the number one position where "Star Wars: Battlefront" is concerned.

According to reports from Player Stats Network, the majority of "Star Wars: Battlefront" players on the PlayStation 4, surpasses that of the Xbox One and PC combined. During the past 24-hours at the time of writing, Star Wars: Battlefront peaked at 188,171 players on the PlayStation 4.

On the Xbox One and PC, the numbers are 113,696 and 48,292 respectively. Now, the reason for this could be due to any number of factors. It could be that PC gamers, which far surpass the amount of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One player, could have other games to play such as Fallout 4.

The same can be said for Xbox One owners since they have several exclusive titles to keep the busy. Games such as "Rise of the Tomb Raider" and "Halo 5: Guardians" are heavy hitters, and along with "Fallout 4," these players have a lot of options.

Then again, it could all boil down to the fact that the PlayStation 4 is just dominating, and also because "Star Wars: Battlefront" was advertised in a way that suggest it is only available on PlayStation 4.

Sony and Electronic Arts signed a deal where Sony gets exclusive marketing rights, ultimately pushing Xbox One and Windows PC gaming platforms to the curb.

When it comes down to the reviews of "Star Wars: Battlefront," well, the ratings on Metacritic are in the low 70s for consoles and 60s for Windows PC.
