"Heroes Reborn" actor Greg Grunberg has joined the cast of Justin Adler's CBS television series "Life in Pieces."
According to Entertainment Weekly, Grunberg is set to play the role of Mikey on an upcoming "Life in Pieces" episode. The "Heroes Reborn" actor is set to join Dianne Wiest, Colin Hanks, James Brolin, Zoe Lister-Jones, Holly J. Barrett, Giselle Eisenberg, Betsy Brandt, Angelique Cabral, and Dan Bakkedahl, among others.
In the series, Mikey, the nephew of Joan (Wiest) and a former hero to Greg (Hanks), was always "too cool" and was depicted as a poor role model. His entry in the scene leads Joan to worry about the possibility of the former to drag her family into his insanity.
Grunberg is known for his roles in Paul Verhoeven's sci-fi thriller film "Hollow Man," J.J. Abrams' action film "Mission: Impossible III" and action sci-fi "Star Trek," and Tim Kring's sci-fi fantasy series "Heroes" and "Heroes Reborn." He is also set to be part of Martin Campbell's drama TV movie "Warriors" and Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," which premieres on Dec. 18.
Meanwhile, "Life in Pieces" season 1 episode 9 is entitled "Hospital Boudoir Time-Out Namaste." According to Spoilers Guide, the episode will see Jen (Lister-Jones) cut her finger. Greg takes her to the hospital, where the two are set to have the "first quality time" they have had in months. John (Brolin) also goes with Samantha (Barett) and Sophia (Eisenberg) to a restaurant where everything is named after feelings.
"Life in Pieces" season 1 episode 9, "Hospital Boudoir Time-Out Namaste," will also see Heather give a sexy anniversary gift to Tim while Sophia gets punished after Heather hears her swearing.
"Life in Pieces" season 1 episode 9, "Hospital Boudoir Time-Out Namaste," airs on Nov. 26 on CBS.
