A children's book supposedly depicting the story of the upcoming film "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has been found online while Google Cardboard is set to promote the movie by providing virtual reality "Star Wars" content.

The images that were leaked online seem to indicate that astromech droid BB-8 and human female scavenger Rey would have a significant role in the overall story.

Likewise, the children's book shows that the iconic "Star Wars" character Han Solo and intelligent biped Chewbacca will have supporting roles throughout "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," according to Cinema Blend.

However, the details included in the images are similar to the observations made when the trailers for the upcoming "Star Wars" film were released.

While the images in the children's book could genuinely be about the plot of J.J. Abrams' "The Force Awakens," no title page or cover were revealed to indicate the product's authenticity. Thus, the book might not be an actual part of the licensed "Star Wars" merchandise.

As Star Wars is to be released in less than a month, more and more promotions would be developed and could potentially spoil the film. So far, the people responsible for marketing "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" have been carefully releasing content.

In addition, one unique promotion of "The Force Awakens" is being developed by Google Cardboard, according to The Verge.

The incredibly cheap device aimed at introducing virtual reality to the general public will be releasing a series of virtual reality content that is ultimately related to the opening scene of the forthcoming "Star Wars" film.

Through the official "Star Wars" Android and iOS apps, people could view the content once unveiled on Dec. 2, 2015.

Aside from Google Cardboard providing the immersive "Star Wars" content, Google has also been allowing users to customize apps by picking either the Force's light side or dark side.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is set to be released on Dec. 14, 2015, in the United States.
