"Dancing With the Stars" season 21 finale airs on ABC on Nov. 24, Tuesday, and the three stars who are still in the running towards becoming the Mirrorball trophy winner are an Australian conservationist, a former Backstreet Boys member and an awarded soldier.
Here are the three finalists of "DWTS" season 21:
1. Bindi Irwin, 17
Partnered with Derek Hough, Irwin is known as the daughter of the late "The Crocodile Hunter" star Steve Irwin. Like her father, she is also a wildlife conservationist. As an actress, she appeared in the TV series "My Babysitter's a Vampire," "Curious George" and "The Project" and starred in the 2013 film "Return to Nim's Island."
2. Nick Carter, 35
Partnered with Sharna Burgess, Carter is best known as one of the Backstreet Boys boy band member. As a solo artist, he is set to release his third studio album "All American" on Nov. 25, Wednesday, a day after the "DWTS" season 21 finals, according to Artist Direct.
In 2016, Carter will star in the film "Dead 7" with his fellow former Backstreet Boys members A.J. McClean and Howie Dorough as well as former NSYNC boy band members Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick.
3. Alek Skarlatos, 23
Partnered with Lindsay Arnold, Skarlatos has received the United States Army Soldier's Medal from President Barack Obama and the Legion of Honour from French president François Hollande, which is the highest decoration in France.
The decorated soldier was recently surprised to learn that the Paris terrorist attacks mastermind Abdelhamid Abaaoud may also have played a role in the shooting on the Paris-bound train, where he and his friends stopped a gunman in August, KVAL reported.
