According to a statement from Bungie, "In order to initiate an in-game Link, players must link to each other through Bungie.net. Refer-a-Friend features are not currently available in the Destiny Companion App."

In addition, veterans are gamers who have played "Destiny: The Taken King" and are expecting to invite friends or new gamers to collaborate with.

It is worth mentioning that players qualify for Referee status for 7 days when playing the game for the first time after purchase. Only those who are eligible for Referee status can accept a referral.

Now, Destiny Taken King rewards include emblem Sign of the Infinite, Shader Infinite Link, Sparrow EV-34 Vector Infinite emote Duo Dance, three legendary swords Elemental Kindblades, and High Five.

The studio rolled out the latest update to the game and they have already begun teasing what gamers should expect next month.

According to Express, Destiny update 2.0.2 offered some bug fixes in addition to coming with some of its own. Bungie have since confirmed that these bugs have been fixed, and they will now concentrate on what is important for December.

According to community manager, David Dague, Destiny is about to receive some revamps courtesy of fan feedback.

Dague wrote, "If you like reading Patch Notes or experiencing the changes they bring to the game, your next destination is the December Update. It will come labeled with one o' them fancy numbers, but the nickname suggests you can expect it to arrive (wait for it) in December!"

The community manager added that the company is packing a digital parcel with things that have been on the fan wish lists. However, Bungie is yet to unveil details on the new features or items, although it could have to do with some material tweaks.
