The Holderness family has created a 2015 Thanksgiving video mix that parodies some of the hottest tunes in the music world. Their Turkey Day mash-up clip was uploaded on November 19, Thursday, and since then the music video has gone viral on YouTube and social networks including Facebook and Twitter, and racked up more than 1.5 million views. It is the latest in the family's original videos that feature their quirky characters.

The name of the video is "Ultimate Thanksgiving Mash-Up," according to WGNTV. Some of the features include turkey basting, green Jell-O, food fight, and bad dancing.

This video is actually a spoof of multiple music videos. They include three hit tunes from this year: Silento's "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)," Adele's "Hello," and Drakes' "Hotline Bling."

The theme of the parody video is the stress caused by preparing Thanksgiving dinner. However, it provides some light-hearted fun for any viewers who have had similar Turkey Day experiences.

The video opens with the family fighting at the dinner table while eating Thanksgiving dinner. The mother Kim sings a funny version of Silento's pop-rap hit. However, instead of asking viewers to watch her do a dance move, she says she will sip her "chardonnay nae," referring to a type of French white wine.

In the video's next part the family's Dad Penn sings about "Jell-O," a spoof of Adele's megahit tune "Hello." He complains that his children eat green gelatin dessert instead of green beans as a side dish.

Finally, the father sings a spin-off of "Hotline Bling," which refers to phone calls from exes who want to get back together. However, in the Thanksgiving mash-up video, the Dad is commanded not to use his mobile phone because his in-laws are visiting him.

Last year the Holderness family's All About That Baste music video went viral.  That also happened when their 2013 Christmas Jammies video became an online hit, according to US Magazine.

Penn and Kim both worked as news reporters. On the family's website Penn explains that half of the news stories he reported on in 18 years were not interesting to him, so he quit. He worked for ESPN and Kim worked for Inside Edition.
