Directed by "Straight Outta Compton" director F. Gary Gray, "Furious 8" will see Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris reprise their respective role in the first "Fast & Furious" sequel without the late Paul Walker, which will be released on April 14, 2017.

Here are five actors "Fast & Furious" fans may want to see added in "Furious 8" cast:

1. Salman Khan, 49

Earning $33.5 million in 2015, according to Forbes, Khan is one of the highest paid actors in the world earning more than Johnson and other Hollywood actors including Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Bollywood actor is to star in the 2016 action film "Sultan" opposite Deepika Padukone and Kriti Sanon.

2. Jackie Chan, 61

Holding the Guinness World Record for most stunts by a living actor, Chan is currently filming "Railroad Tigers" and "Kung Fu Yoga," an Indian-Chinese production. He will also star in the 2016 action film "The Foreigner" opposite Pierce Brosnan and Stephen Hogan.

3. Zhang Ziyi, 36

Known as one of China's Four Dan Actresses, Zhang is set to star in the 2016 drama film "Forever Young" with Paul Philip Clark, who co-stars with Chan in "Skiptrace" and "Kung Fu Yoga."

Among Zhang's most notable films are "Rush Hour 2," "Hero," "House of Flying Daggers" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon."

4. Kevin Bacon, 57

After starring in "Cop Car" and "Black Mass," Bacon is set to star in the 2016 horror thriller film "6 Miranda Drive." He also recently played Ryan Hardy in the TV series "The Following."

5. Dave Bautista, 46

Bautista is set to reprise his role as Drax in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." Recently, he starred in Sam Mendes' "Spectre" starring Daniel Craig. In an interview with MTV, Bautista said Mendes was trying to capture "that very nostalgic, the very classic silent henchman" in "Spectre."
