In an attempt to rekindle his romance with Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber has reportedly planned an extravagant Christmas gift for his on-and-off girlfriend.

Recent reports stated that the "Baby" hit maker is planning to rent out Los Angeles' Staples Center to watch "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The movie date is likely to be reminiscent of another of their 2011 movie date when the singer had famously rented out the 18,000 seat stadium and the two had spent a romantic evening watching "Titanic."

"A date is brewing and Justin wants to rent out the Staples Center and watch the new 'Star Wars'," Hollywood Life quoted a source as saying. Another source added that a double date can happen soon involving the new rumored couple, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik.

Earlier this week, the Canadian singer made news when he was filmed serenading Gomez with the rendition of "My Girl" while they were hanging out at the Montage Beverly Hills.

Bieber, who is popular for impromptu performances, first performed "Sorry" and another song on piano and spent the rest of the evening chatting with her. They later danced together in front of the piano as a hotel performer sang Lionel Richie's "Easy."

These triggered the rumor that the former couple is considering to reconcile and rekindle their relationship. However, both Bieber and Gomez, who dated on and off between early 2011 and late 2014, have not commented about their encounter.

Meanwhile, the singer has ditched his schedule, including, a Late Show appearance and a big Thanksgiving performance and instead has headed to Orange County on Nov. 24, Tuesday. The singer will be spending some me-time at his friend's ranch in Trabuco Canyon in the foothills the Santa Ana Mountains, Daily Mail reported.
