Curved Screen TV's were first announced in the market in 2013, where it promoted to provide wider picture display and a mesmerizing and captivating experience for consumers.

Come early 2014, several TV manufacturers such Sony, Samsung and LG introduced their own lovely curved TV's in various screen sizes. One manufacturer never patronized such technology though; hence, it unveiled an infomercial to mock other TV manufacturer for their Curved TV screen products, Dealerscope reports.

The California-based consumer electronics producer Vizio revealed that they have created a new device to remedy the headache caused by a curved TV screen, in which, mocks other TV manufacturer. TV manufacturer Vizio claims that the "Anti-Curved Glasses," which is available in different colors including camouflage, will turn your curved TV into a beautiful flat screen and is perfect for the whole family and even for pets.

This remarkable piece of technology also comes with a detachable drinking holder, in which, is beneficial to consumers, especially for kids and for couch potatoes. Though, this infomercial is just simply a humor, it is still suggesting that consumers should not fall for a gimmick of expensive curved TV's that does not give any difference from a regular one.

The said infomercial is giving a message that consumers' should buy their flat TV screens, in which, the US-based company is offering $100 off plus Free Standard Shipping for their 4k Ultra HD P-Series Flatscreen TV's.

Curved TV's is said to give a satisfactory viewing angles and reduced distortion. It is also said that Curved screen TV's, as cited by CNET, have less surrounding reflections that of flat screen TV's though there is an apparent increase in size when it catches a reflection of an object.

Though Curved TV is just recently introduced to the market, curved screen projection is already around in 1950's which was specifically debuted in New York by Cinerama Corporation in 1952.
