The television series "How I Met Your Mother" has reportedly made an actual Canadian Sex Acts website.

The said website followed the events in "How I Met Your Mother" season 4 episode 18 entitled "Old King Clancy." The episode followed Robin (Cobie Smulders) being propositioned by a Canadian celebrity to visit his home to check the classy item collection.

During the visit, the Canadian celebrity asked her to do an odd sexual act, which led her friends to investigate the celebrity's identity, his collection, and the sex act. The idea was a result of actual events involving similar scenario.

The episode also saw Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) visit the website Canadian Sex Acts and his friends began suggesting the sex act the celebrity used. They discovered that the celebrity was a make-believe Canadian wrestler who had fast-food trays as his collections while the sex act involved maple syrup.

The creation of websites also linked to the series began in the late "How I Met Your Mother" season 3 episode 14 entitled "The Bracket." The episode saw someone sabotaging Barney'sattempts to seduce women. Barney's friends also went over the women who were previously attached to the former to yield a list of suspects, which led to an NCAA Tournament-style bracket

In the said tournament, one of the top candidates was a woman whom Barney told that his name was Ted Mosby, the character played by Josh Radnor. The woman made a website called Ted Mosby Is A Jerk in the series and as a result, the show brought the said website to life.

The said website is in the woman's perspective and provides information on the adversities she had experienced from Barney's "Mosby." It also gives warning to people, telling them not to date Mosby. A brief history also noted that the woman had met Mosby at the bar MacLaren's in the Upper West Side.

The woman also said that Mosby had totally bailed on her while she was in the shower and had left behind a letter, saying that he had been a ghost so he would not have to talk to her again. Along with the "Infamous Letter" and the facts and portraits of Mosby, the site is eager to stop girls from hanging out with Mosby.

The website has got more than 500,000 visitors since Oct. 9, 2006.

With the website still living, Mosby also created a response website called Ted Mosby Is Not A Jerk. The webpage contains information, which is in favor of its creator and voids his misdeeds in the woman's website. It also contains Mosby's love stories, conspiracy theory, and testimonies, along with a Conan O'Brien link.

With the said websites giving amusement to the fans, their creation could be a possible strategy in the current and future television series.
