New details for "Thor: Ragnarok" will likely feature Thanos in the mid-credit scene, as well as Chris Hemsworth wanting the sequel to have a funnier side.

Several rumors are making rounds that the Mad Titan, Thanos (Josh Brolin) will be appearing in "Thor: Ragnarok" as writer SupermanStarts stated that Thanos will be the mastermind behind the attack on Asgard during the film, Moviepilot reported.

According to SupermanStarts, Thanos will be invading Asgard as he battles Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and even Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and the it will not be an ordinary mid-credit scene, but a 10 minute sequence that will set up "Avengers: Infinity War" films.

Thanos was able to kills Odin and Thor is outmatch by him. He is saved by Loki using his magic illusions, but the Mad Titan eventually caught and "kill" him. Before Thanos could rip Loki's head off clean, Loki was able to slip the location the Mind stone. Thanos smiles and proceeds to kill him, and Heimdall (Idris Elba) was able to drag Thor's lifeless and beaten body to escape Asgard using the Bifrost bridge with the Tessaract as Thanos gives chase to both of them.

Thanos mission in the phase 3 MCU films is collect all of the Infinity Stones and use it to takeover the universe. Thanos hunt for the gems will lead to haunting down Vision, who has the mind stone and will likely invade Xandar for the Power Stone and the Tessaract/Power Stone during "Thor: Ragnarok".

Aside from the rumored mid-credit scene, Hemsworth stated in an interview that he wanted "Thor: Ragnarok" to be a bit funnier, despite the dark themed of the film.

"In The Heart of the Sea" explained that he wanted to have the same smart wit and unexpected humor found in "Guardians of the Galaxy", Cinemablend reported. Hemsworth added that he is also excited to work with the film's new director Taika Waititi and could collaborate with him with some of his ideas and suggestions for "Thor: Ragnarok".

The plot of the third instalment will have Thor save Asgard from a apocalyptic event after the events of "Avengers: Age of Ultron". The film will feature an appearances from Bruce Banner/the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Valkyrie, as well as a possible new villainess such as Amora the Enchantress, Hela, Karnilla and the Warrior queen Knorda.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to be release on Nov. 3, 2017.
