For avid patrons of Sony and Microsoft products, watch out for the upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two, which the two developers are now working on its way. The release of the new consoles is expected to be out before 2020.

PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 may have been trending for over seven years now, but PlayStation 4 and Xbox One may not also be around for long. Sooner or later, the previous devices will be replaced with the all new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two, which should be released sometime 2019.

Previous devices will have to be replaced with the latest innovated consoles as these can no longer handle newly innovated games. It should also provide better graphics for new releases of video games. As per Neurogadget, specifications in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can go outdated.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One devices may no longer work with a 4K resolution due to processing power, but PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two will run with 4K resolution especially with new games. According to speculations, both new consoles can be unveiled between 2018 and 2019. Surely one can expect better specifications for gaming. For gamers, it may take them a year or two to move from the current consoles to the new ones.

In 2013, it was recalled that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 were released. Two years later, the latest video games intended for these devices were exclusively developed.

As per Techspot, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One haven't hit their primes yet, but two years later, Sony and Microsoft are now working on their successors. In fact, the developments of the latest devices are underway.

Current consoles used today such as the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 may have been in the mainstream for several years now; however, Microsoft and Sony intend to break the cycle by innovating the latest devices such as Xbox Two and PlayStation 5.
