Kendall Jenner, who is part of the Kardashian family that loves to have their naked bodies posted on social media sites, is benefitting from the posting of a nude photo of a French model on her Instagram account. But it also works both ways.

Elisa Meliani's photo, showing her au naturel while lying on a horse, was actually taken in 2014. But she posted it on Kendall's IG account which was not attributed. Mashable notes that many IG followers of Kendall assumed it was her nude photo since many of them likely focused on the body and not the face of the woman on top of the horse.

One day after the image was posted, it got 1.1 million likes and generated almost 100,000 comments. But Elisa apparently did not mind the lack of attribution because what mattered was that it got a lot of likes, boosting her popularity which models want.

Mashable notes that when rapper Drake made a similar move when he posted on Instagram the work of artist Dave Valeza titled "Hotline Bling," he got into trouble. The caricature features "Hello" singer Adele, which Drake's post removed Valeza's signature on the bottom right part.

Drake eventually apologized to the artist for using the image with Valeza's permission. The caricature, incidentally, got more than 430,000 likes.

Kendall's last photoshoot in October, by Mert Alas, showed the 20-year-old reality star in provocative poses such as topless with wet hair and dark eye makeup that ran down her face while inside a shower stall. Kendall's photos were aptly titled "wash away her sins."

However, her latest "sin of omission" of Elisa's name appears to have been forgiven by the French model. After all, her nude shoot posted on YouTube in 2013, got only 90,000 views in almost three years, while "riding" on Kendall's popularity paid off with more than 1 million likes in 24 hours.
