With Jon Snow's (Kit Harington) fate now in the open, thanks to the show's poster released by HBO, new speculations have emerged around what the beloved bastard is up to in "Game Of Thrones" season 6.

Recent reports stated that multiple scenes are being shot in a close area in Northern Ireland. The scenes include the one of three-eyed raven's cave, a White Walker set and one of Castle Black, Los Siete Reinos reported.

But the interesting thing is that despite confirmation of Snow's comeback, Harrington was reported to be missing from Castle Black and Night's Watch scenes. The reports have led to a major "Game of Thrones" season 6 spoiler that Eddard Stark's bastard son is no longer Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.

A popular fan theory states that Snow's death and highly-speculated resurrection will eventually free him from the oath he swore to Night's Watch to serve it till his death.

The most likely candidate to take Snow's position as Lord Commander is Alliser Thorne, played by Owen Teale. Thorne ran for the job in last season but lost to him. It is also rumored that it is Thorne who had engineered the apparent murder of Jon Snow in "Game Of Thrones" season 5 finale episode, Watchers On The Wall reported.

It is also likely that a familiar character from elsewhere in Westeros will be sent to the Wall in season 6 who then becomes the Lord Commander.

Other spoiler indicates that after his resurrection by Red Priestess, Jon Snow will be left with a larger purpose to serve. While some theories state that he will be shown harboring the legendary spirit of Azor Ahai, it is also speculated that he will head South to partake or even lead the battle of Bastards.
