In a battle of New York teams, the Jets (6-5) and Giants (5-6) clash at the MetLife Stadium on December 6 to open the 2015 NFL season Week 13 Sunday games for their only official regular season meeting this year.

The last time these two teams met was in the third week of the most recent preseason with the Jets trouncing the Giants, 28-18.

Todd Bowles' squad is coming off a huge 38-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins at the Metlife Stadium last Sunday, as reported by Fox Sports.

Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and wide receiver Brandon Marshall led the Jets with four touchdown passes and two touchdown receipts respectively. Running back Chris Ivory also had one rushing score on the way to the blowout win.

Meanwhile, Tom Coughlin's team dropped a sorry 20-14 decision to the Washington Redskins at the FedEx Field also last Sunday for their second consecutive defeat, as per the Washington Post.

Eli Manning had a dismal performance, throwing 26-of-51 for 321 yards, with three interceptions and three sacks for a low QBR of 18.5, although he managed to score two touchdowns.

The Jets are projected to compound the Giants woes with a two-touchdown victory as Fitzpatrick and Marshall again connect well on offense.

Prediction: Jets win, 28-14.
