"Once Upon A Time" winter finale is just a week away and the story arc will be greatly dark.
Episode 10 saw fans watching Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), who is currently the second Dark One, get through his plan to resurrect all previous Dark Ones including Nimue.
Furthermore, viewers had a true picture of what Emma (Jennifer Morrison) is planning next. After she turned Hook into a Dark One in Camelot, he places a curse and succumbs to the darkness. Emma steals everyone's memories so that she can end everything.
A number of things are lined up for "Once Upon A Time" season 5 episode 11. The episode titled "Swan Song" will air on Dec. 6, Sunday, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
In the upcoming winter finale, Hook, Nimue (Caroline Ford), and all former Dark Ones will enter the town to suck out all the light. According to the promo of episode 11, Emma threatens to kill Hook if it implies saving lives of her family members.
A major concern for "Once Upon A Time" season 5 episode 11 is the side that Zelena (Rebecca Mader) will take. Apparently, Regina (Lana Parrilla) was kind to Zelena in the previous episode when she let her meet her daughter. As wicked as Zelena is, she could collaborate with Emma and the team just to save her daughter.
The winter finale will probably set the storyline for the second half of season 5. According to Variety, the development team initially referred to season 5B 'hell," and given that all the Dark Ones are back and the story will feature Hercules and Greek mythological characters, viewers should expect seeing a darker plot.
