Lenovo is going thinner, faster, and stronger than ever. To be unleashed at the CES 2015 this week are two of the great ThinkPads of the company, the ThinkPad Carbon X1 and the ThinkPad X250, which both possess the fifth generation of Intel's Core i3, i5, and i7 Intel processors.
These ThinkPads were made for the business men and women who are always on the road yet need to have access with their work 24/7 every day and fast.
The ThinkPad Carbon X1 and the ThinkPad X250 both have the latest 5th generation Intel core processors. These are also capable of 4G and LTE connectivity depending on the region.
The highlights of these ThinkPads are its displays, graphics, apps performance and the long battery life. The display resolutions of these two are much better as the Carbon X1 offers its users a 1080p 14 inches display screen with an optional 1440p panel. The Carbon X1 is a bit smaller on its display screen at 12.5 inches, 1366 x 768 displays, however with a 1080p optional panel.
It has more storage and memory. The weight of both ThinkPads appears to be lighter than the usual as Lenovo has opted to create thinner chips.
Lenovo's Carbon X1 has been the business industry's famous choice due to its thinness. Now, it is much thinner at 17.7mm thick and weighs only around 1.3 kilos. Its latest capacity of a PCI-Express 3.0 slot gives the user quicker speed to transfer data compared to the SATA technology. SATA is the standard laptop technology for drives, but PCI-Express SSDs are 80 percent quicker.
The X250 has X240's character but it possess a faster core processor from Intel. It is 20.3 mm thick at 1.3 kilos; it is much leaner and lighter compared to the X240. 4G and LTE wireless connectivity options are included.
The Carbon X1 will cost around US$1249.00 while the X250 will cost around US$1149.00.
