Is ‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 9 Episode 10 Airing Tonight (Dec. 3)? Everything That Happens On ‘The Earworm Reverberation’ [First Look, Airdate]

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 continues to be on a winter hiatus and there will be no new episode on Dec. 3, 2015. The show is expected to return to the television with Episode 10 on Dec. 10, 2015. The much-awaited segment is titled "The Earworm Reverberation" and it focuses on Amy and Sheldon's relationship. It is said that the couple will finally reconcile and reunite. Check out the spoilers for the next instalment of CBS' fan-favourite sit-com.

The network has recently released a synopsis for the forthcoming segment. According to the press release (via SpoilerTV) for "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 10, a song is stuck in Sheldon's head and he can't get it out of his mind. He seeks Leonard and Penny's help in order to remember the tune but it seems they are of no help.

While Sheldon is unable to get rid of the tune stuck in his head, he experiences an epiphany and figure out why the song has been on his mind. According to Hollywood Hills, the song in the question is a "Beach Boys" song and it reminds him of Amy. While listening to the song, he realizes that he still loves Amy and she is his one true love.

As for Amy, she invites Dave over to her place for a dinner date. As reported by International Business Times, upon realising Amy's importance in his life, Sheldon rushes to Amy's place to reconcile with her. Here, he finds Amy and Dave kissing. He interrupts the couple's warm moment just to tell Amy that he still loves her.

Meanwhile, Cartermatt's spoilers suggest appearance of Sheldon's childhood hero's ghost in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 10. Professor Proton's ghost will help Sheldon with relationship advice.

Fans can also expect to see more about Wolowitz and Koothrappali's band "Footprints on the Moon." The duo comes across one of their fans and is very excited about it.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, "The Big Bang Theory" executive producer talked about Amy and Sheldon's future. "They've been together on and off for over five years and it just seemed to be a good way to ultimately resolve this journey they've been on, including this break-up as well ... Molaro told the website.  How long could we make this poor girl wait?! I liked that there was something unexpected about it. You could have easily made an episode like this be a season finale or something like that so why not pull the trigger when people think we may not. The stories lined up with Star Wars coming out. We were so excited about it and we felt it was time."
