‘Scandal’ Season 5 Episode 10 Update, Spoilers, Airdate: When Is The Winter Premiere? What’s Next For Fitz and Olivia

In Episode 9 "Baby, It's Cold Outside," Olivia decides to part ways from Fitz. She cannot handle the pressure of being the First Lady. She even aborted hers and Fitz's baby. Apparently, Fitz does not know about the abortion yet. But what will happen when Fitz will find out about the big decision that Olivia made without involving him.

Moving on to Episode 10 of "Scandal" Season 5, the show is expected to feature the aftermath of Olivia and Fitz's breakup and impact of Olivia's bold decision of getting her baby aborted. Meanwhile, the network is yet to reveal any information. While it's too early to expect synopsis for the winter premiere, the title also remains unspecified.

Meanwhile, several media outlets are speculating what's next for Olivia and Fitz. This may not be the end of Olivia and Fitz's relationship. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, "Scandal" actor Tony Goldwyn, who plays the role of Fitz, talked about Olivia and Fitz breakup and their future. According to the actor, there might still be hope for Olivia and Fitz's reunion.

"I think there's hope. I think Fitz and Olivia really love each other. I may be alone at this point in thinking that, I don't know (Laughs.) But I do, and I think when people love each other as primally as these two people do, I think they can come back from anything," Goldwyn told the website.

But what happens when he gets the devastating news about the abortion of his baby, just after the death of his son? "I can't imagine how Fitz will react when he finds out about the abortion. But his feelings for Olivia defy logic," the actor said about his reaction to the big news.

Fitz will reportedly be devastated after learning what happened to his baby with Olivia. However, his "irrational love for Olivia" is expected to help him cope. As for Olivia, who looks happy and free after the breakup, the actor thinks she is "lying to herself."

"She has that thing where when you run away from a commitment or obligation, there's that initial sense of, "I'm free! I can do what ever I want!" the actor said. He even hinted at "tremendous backlash" as the aftermath of Olivia's abortion.
