Capcom has announced it will be giving another stress test for its upcoming "Street Fighter V" in a third beta to be released this month.

Japanese game developer, Capcom has scheduled a third beta test opportunity for "Street Fighter V" from Dec. 17 to 20.

The soon-to-be released fighting video game is the fifth main installment in the developer's "Street Fighter" franchise. It initially launched its first two online beta testing programs in July and August.

The first stress test was offered to North American PlayStation 4 gamers who preordered the title, as well as European players with existing accounts on Sony's PlayStation Network.

It was followed by a second beta program launched in two parts; one in Aug. 14, and the other in Aug. 28.

According to Cinema Blend, this third and final stress test will give players the opportunity to try out the game before its official launch two months from now.

Gaming website Shoryuken earlier reported a mysterious update arrived Tuesday, Dec. 1 for the PC and PS4 version of the beta. The patch was the first indication Capcom was gearing up for another test phase.

While there has been no details released about the upcoming third beta, there are four characters remaining in the launch roster that were not offered for play during the first two initial stress tests.

Players should expect Dhalsim, Laura, Zangief, and an as-yet-unannounced character to be available when the third beta launches a little more than a week from now.

"Street Fighter V" is officially set to launch for PC and PS4 by Feb. 16, 2016.
