"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is the continuation of the Star Wars series created by George Lucas. The film is set 30 years after the 1983 movie, "Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi."

The film is directed and co-produced by J.J. Adams. Moreover, the Force Awakens stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley and other stars.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is to be released in Los Angeles on Dec. 14 while the release in United Kingdom and Germany is on Dec. 17 and in the U.S. and Japan in Dec. 18.

There is a prediction that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will get into a box office hit. The franchise could be included on the list of the three films of all time, Variety reported. Furthermore, it is predicted that the potential box office hit could gross more than the 1.6 billion U.S. dollars of the film "Jurassic World," the publication added.
