Season 5 of the hit series "Game of Thrones" is soon to hit the cable network for thousands of viewers awaiting its premiere episode, according to The Telegraph.

"Game of Thrones" is one of the most viewed series in the previous years. From the premiere season up to the fourth, viewers have been increasing. Season 4 hit 5.4 million viewers on its final episode, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

HBO sinks its historical storytelling teeth into the medieval fantasy epic with a portrayal of family feuds, of kings and queens, of liars and honest men fighting for power over the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros to sit at the Iron Throne.

This time, the hit series will be the first TV series to be screened in IMAX cinemas. The "Game of Thrones" shall be re-mastered in the IMAX format run for one week from Jan. 23 to 29. Two episodes will be getting the silver screen treatment, "The Children" and "The Watchers On The Wall."

"The cinematic brilliance and grand scope of the series is perfect for the IMAX format," said HBO's chief marketing officer, Pamela Levine.

Moreover, the fifth season where the young life of the tempestuous and sultry Cersei Lannister will be revealed to be played by Nell Williams, according to her talent agency Troika Talent.

Williams will be playing the younger version of Cersei, which was played by Lena Headey, and is one of the latest additions to the upcoming fifth season of the fictional TV fantasy drama. The young actress's TV appearances include "The Revolting World of Stanley Brown."

On this new season, the producers of the series have confirmed in an interview in Spain that this season would break its long standing no-flashbacks rule. It may include the young Cersei's trip to the fortune teller, Maggy the Frog.

Several flashbacks from the first three episodes will be shown on the Thrones fifth season. Williams shall be seen on these flashback episodes.

Season 5 is set to start this coming April.
