Snapchat is not giving up on humans, but have started to relying more on sophisticated automatic computer reasoning. From its usual 10 seconds of disappearing messages to a storytelling tool, now Snapchat have embraced extra algorithms for producing and monitoring contents.

According to IBTimes  since Story Explorer videos are not being prescreened by staffs, users are requested to report by holding down a video which contains not suitable for viewing especially those that contain violence and sex.

Snapchat have used Live Stories before, where video contents are stitched together by human curators working with in the team. So the stories chosen are being managed by Snapchat teams working closely with the event coordinators. This how Snapchat Live Story works in events, like musical events like concerts at festival events. So in cases like these, the best content are being achieved by "strong editors" who are really dedicated in creating best contents for the apps' network called Snapchat Discover, Headline News reported.

In the new Story Explorer, the editors still play a huge role in the selection of moments and stories only this time the algorithms and data are increasing. But other Advertising Agency heads are disappointed at how algorithm technology performs and they fear that if Snapchat don't figure out the system well, it can also create a problem, according to RAIN Chief Operating Officer Nick Godfrey. But as for now, let us see what the can expanded algorithms can do in giving valuable moments for the users in the future.
