The "Attack on Titan" Season 2 release date has been confirmed for Feb. 2016 in Japan. There are also rumors that it may be the last anime adaptation in the series.

As the game is expected to release in Japan in Feb. 2016, so it is expected that its launch in other countries will also not be far too long, after it. The "Attack on Titan" Season 1 was also released initially in Japan and then later, in other countries.

According to Game Spot, the recently released trailer for the game has confirmed that the game will be released for Play Station Vita, Play Station 3 and Play Station 4 in Japan.

It is also expected that the upcoming season will focus on the story line of "104 Trainees Squad," whereas the previous season was centric to the initial 30 chapters.

According to MNR Daily, this may well be the last anime adaptation of the series as it is already almost 60 percent complete. The delay in releasing the second season is apparently due to the fact that the manga does not have enough arcs for a complete season.

Fans who have not read the manga will not need to do so, as the anime series will follow the manga and finish off in a spectacular fashion.

Numerous spoilers for the "Attack on Titan" Season 2 reveal that Eren Yaeger may not survive, as he will be involved in a fight with Captain Smith and will also lose his arm. It is also rumored that the rightful owner of the of the Coordinate is actually Lenz and not Eren, as it was initially believed.
