"Fifty Shades Darker" star Dakota Johnson was recently spotted walking around New York City on Friday.
The 26-year-old actress surprised fans with her new blonde hair color, according to the Daily Mail.
Even though the filming for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel won't begin anytime soon, fans couldn't help but wonder whether or not Johnson's Anastasia Steele will also have the same hair color.
In the books written by E.L. James, Anastasia had dark brown hair. In fact, her hair color was one of the things that made her look like a naïve young woman.
Meanwhile, Johnson will star in the upcoming movie "How To Be Single" alongside "Pitch Perfect 2" cast member Rebel Wilson.
In the film, Johnson will play the role of a woman who turns to excessive partying after getting out of a long-term relationship.
The film is slated to hit theaters in the United States sometime in February 2016.
In other news, Johnson has been impressing a lot of people when it comes to her fashion and style.
According to the New York Post, Johnson was recently spotted wearing a cocktail dress in black and white.
The actress' festive look while promoting her film with Johnny Depp recently proved that she loved mixing and matching her clothes.
"The best thing about the 26-year-old'd red carpet repertoire is it's never one-note - despite the fact that almost every look is either Gucci or Christian Dior," the publication noted.
"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
