There have been interesting rumors in the recent past concerning the Pokémon franchise including the "Pokémon GO" release date and "Pokémon Z" updates. Latest leaks have surfaced online revealing a new playable character for "Pokken Tournament."

During the weekend, a reported Pokémon development manual started circulating on the internet. The manual features instructions on different mythological regulations of the universe. The rules include scriptures on blood relations, procreation, and death.

According to Neatorito, the manual guide read, "In general, no references are made to the 'life' and 'death' of a Pokémon. In battles, they are never killed but 'faint' when they are defeated. Pokémon cemeteries have appeared in the video games, but no mention is made of how the Pokémon died, and these graves are not depicted in the animation."

Apparently, the manual serves as a style guide for corporations that develop Pokémon product.

PsychMS commented via Reddit, "It sounds like someone working for a third-party producer of merchandise got it and scanned it, because a few other people [online] said they got it under those circumstances."

However, this is not the only speculated Pokémon news to surface online. There was also an image circulating on the internet featuring Pokenchi presenter, Shoko Nakagawa playing "Pokémon Tournament." The background of the photo has a sign, which displays Sceptile as a playable character, Electrode, and Farfetch'd as support Pokémon.

While the leaks are unconfirmed, fans should expect more details on who emerges soon. The footage below gives an overview of Sceptile as a playable character for the Pokémon Tournament.
