"The Voice" Season 9 (2015) revealed its semifinals results on the episode airing on Dec. 8, 2015. But before revealing the top four finalists, the show features eliminations that bid goodbye to five out nine remaining contestants. Here is a detailed recap of what happened during the top 9 results episode. [Spoiler alert!]

Fans must note that the competition for those who get eliminated at this stage will come to an end. Meanwhile, those who advance to the next level will be competing in the finals next week. For "The Voice" Season 9 (2015) Semifinals, Jordan Smith, Jeffrey Austin, Emily Ann Roberts, Madi Davis, Amy Vachal, Braiden Sunshine, Zach Seabaugh and Barrett Baber receives iTunes Bonus multiplier after figuring in top 10 iTunes ranking charts.

Coming back to "The Voice" Season 9 (2015) Semifinals results episode. The show kicked off with a celebrity performance by Cassadee Pope. She sang her latest single "I Am Invincible." After some announcements by the show host Carson Daly, the results were announced.

First off, "The Voice" Season 9 frontrunner Jordan Smith from Team Adam was announced to be safe. The next announcement revealed that the next contestant to be advancing to the finals is Emily Ann Roberts.

Legendary musician Dolly Parton, then, took the stage to deliver a performance of her classic single "Coat of Many Colors." It was followed by more results. The third "The Voice" Season 9 (2015) finalist is Barrett Baber from Team Blake.

As for the three bottom three artists competing for the final spot in "The Voice" Season 9 (2015) finals are: Jeffery Austin (Team Gwen), Zach Seabaugh (Team Blake), and Madi Davis (Team Pharrell). Meanwhile, Amy Vachal and Shelby Brown from Team Adam and Braiden Sunshine from Team Gwen are eliminated.

For Instant Save, Zach Seabaugh sang "Live Like You Were Dying," Madi Davis performed "Don't Dream it's Over," and Jeffery Austin sang "Make it Rain."  And the America Saved Jeffery Austin, who will now compete in the "The Voice" Season 9 (2015) finals.
