"Vikings Season 4," the much awaited Season of the Irish-Canadian TV series, is expected to answer the question, what lies ahead when Ragnar comes back? Lies, betrayal, treachery, lost brotherhood, lost friendship, and many more and expected to come.

In "Vikings Season 4" show's trailer, Athelstan's (George Blagden) can be heard reciting verses like  reading what is happening with the prophesies that were found on the Holy Bible. According to him, "One generation passes away, and another generation comes."

This "Vikings Season 4" line hints the end for Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel), the Viking who transformed from a mere warrior to the Earl of Kattegat, conquered Europe and later became the King of Denmark after King Horik.

Ragnar has clearly earned people's allegiance, respect, as well as the strength of the whole Vikings kingdom, Hollywood Reporter reported. He is then crowned to rule as King of all the Vikings. However, all things have their consequences. The character was in the frontline, leading the Vikings towards conquering the West.

After they harvest the silvers and golds and made allegiance with Paris, he left his dear brother Rollo along with some men to forge a lasting bond. It is yet to be seen how long this friendship will last.

The "Vikings Season 4" trailer shows Rollo being identified as a traitor to his brother and he promises revenge with them who he once saw as brothers. Meanwhile, the Ragnar women Aslaug and Lagertha are both seem to be dreaming of bigger things, Zap2it reported.

"Vikings Season 4" is to return in 2016.
