Tyra Banks, 42, announced that "America's Next Top Model" cycle 22 will be the last cycle of the modelling competition show she created even before "Switched at Birth" actor Nyle DiMarco, 26, the first and the only deaf model of the reality show, was declared as the last winner.

"I would like to be the final winner," DiMarco recently told Entertainment Tonight. "But it would be nice to see it come back, maybe in another venue, or another kind of reincarnation, you know, another approach to the modeling world."

Banks also told the publication that she tends to like to do things and leave when on top as she left the runway before it left her when she was a supermodel. She added that she was surprised at the amount of backlash she got when she announced that "ANTM" cycle 22 will be the final cycle.

For Banks, it is interesting that "ANTM" hopefuls are flooding her social media accounts asking her to change her mind. It made her consider whether or not she ended her modelling competition show too early.

Meanwhile, DiMarco has collaborated with The ASL App to make American Sign Language easy to learn for anyone. The "ANTM" cycle 22 winner announced that they just did 150,000 downloads and he is very proud of the app.

According to Banks, the "Switched at Birth" actor is doing something revolutionary for the deaf community and the hearing community alike. She said he is currently the world's most famous deaf person.
