Koei Tecmo, the game publisher of "Attack on Titan," has finally made its statement on its release date for Japan gamers only. For gamers coming from Europe, North America and the United States, they need to wait for the latest updates of the upcoming release.
As per Gematsu last Monday, Dec. 7, Koei Tecmo tells that the new game "Attack on Titan" will be available for Japanese gamers on Feb. 18, 2016, and they are now receiving pre-orders for the new game.
You can play the game through your PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4, which should come out in two editions - the Treasure Box Edition and the Standard Edition.
Aside from obtaining the game, the Treasure Box Edition will provide exclusive items such as a CD with the game's official soundtrack, a download code for exclusive outfits, muffler scarf or towel, the official investigation record collection, and two collections of tin badges of Levi, Mikasa and Erin, who are members of the elite corp.
According to Siliconera, the game prices Standard Edition for the PS3 and PS4 is priced at $63 or 7,800 yen. The PS Vita Standard Edition is priced at $55 or 6,800 yen. For the Treasure Box Edition, it is priced at $100 or 12,800 yen for the PS3 and PS4; and $95 or 11,800 yen for the PS Vita.
No news yet has been announced by Koei Tecmo as to when the real release date of "Attack on Titan" is for gamers from the United States and the rest of the West, but one can expect it out anytime on 2016.
The new game published by Koei Tecmo has been based on the popular anime of the same title. It should offer the 3D Maneuver as featured in videos. It's a chance for players to play as Reiner Braun, Bertolt Hoover, Annie Leonhart, Krista Lenz and Ymir.
