Capcom has recently announced that the remastered "Resident Evil O" will be released on January 2016. The pre-order for the prequel has started, and Capcom is giving freebies for the early birds.

Capcom made the announcement last Dec. 8 and the game that started it all, will be available starting Jan. 19 in the U.S., while Europe will have it shortly, on Jan. 22. Capcom all announced that for those who will pre-order the game will have an extra pair of costumes for Rebeca and Billy, as shared by Polygon.

"Resident Evil 0," in digital format will come in at $19.99, €19.99, £15.99 and will for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. It will be a fully mastered copy of the game, plus special new features will be included such as an alternate modern control system and the Wesker Mode Players will get to play the game from the villain's point of view.

Capcom will also be releasing a special physical edition package that will contain two games, "Resident Evil O" and "Resident Evil HD." The pricing is not yet available.

As for the freebies, an exclusive costume pack will be thrown in for the early bird promo that includes Billy in Wolf Force, shirt while Rebecca will have a cheerleader outfit. Plus, an in-game "Resident Evil O" T-shirt for Rebecca.

.The original game started out in 2002 on a Nintendo 64 gaming console. It was around May, of the current year, that Capcom announced about the remastered and HD copies of the two games.
