In the interview, Davis also admitted that he and the MTV producers have talked about doing a "Teen Wolf" movie sometime in the future. Although the storyline is still unclear, it will definitely focus on Tyler (Scott McCall).

"Tyler and I also talked about doing a romantic comedy, because I think he's such a good romantic lead," he added.

The showrunner also shared that they thought about creating a spin-off series but eventually decided against it and focus on what they have for the time being. He also debunked rumors stating that there will be zombies and vampires in the coming episodes.

In other news, "Teen Wolf" season 5 episode 11 is slated to air on Jan. 5, 2016. In a separate interview with Entertainment Weekly, Davis shared that although fans were happy to see the "resurrection" of Scott McCall, his return did not come without repercussions. He hinted that there will be multiple "side effects" to his character, adding that it could change him for the worse.
