Congratulations are in order for the "New Girl" actress, the very chirpy and beautiful Zooey Deschanel who is reportedly expecting her first child with boyfriend Jacob Pechenik. The child is due in the summer.
US Magazine reported that Zooey, 34, was seen stepping out of her house on Jan 11, wearing a long blue coat and using it to hide the baby bump.
According to People Magazine, this good news is well timed as her sister Emily Deschanel is also expecting with husband David Hornsby. This will be her second child. "Bones" actress Emily told the media last week that she weirdly feels very thirsty during her pregnancy. If this runs in the family, Zooey must get well equipped with her water supply soon!
In an interview, Zooey said she and her husband are over the moon and really excited to welcome their bundle of joy in this world. Zooey and her producer beau Jacob have been dating since August last year and have been inseparable since, after Zooey split with her ex- boyfriend Jamie Linden. No plans to tie the knot and walk down the aisle before the baby's birth were revealed.
Jacob is the producer of Zooey's next movie "Rock The Kasbah" which is about an American music manager who goes to Afghanistan and discovers a beautiful girl with a beautiful voice. The movie also stars Bruce Willis and Kate.
Zooey was last seen on the big screen in the movie "500 days of Summer" with Joseph Gorden-Levitt and also in her regular series "New Girl."
