Just this weekend, developer Bandai Namco has recently unveiled the release of "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" in its Iron Fist Tournament in Tokyo, which is a follow-up statement of its Paris Game Week in October. It also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the franchise. It is such great and interesting news to finally unveil the new version featuring Akuma and more.

Mark Julio, a Mad Catz expert, tweets that the new game is coming soon. It features Akuma as its playable character with more new characters, costumes and better graphic upgrades.

He later tweeted why Akuma is not included in the "Street Fighter 5" version for reasons that he is part of the "Tekken 7" game version, as featured in the trailer. He used to be a hidden boss in "Super Street Fighter II Turbo" that had come a long, long way.

As per its marketing, there is a strong recommendation that Heihachi Mishima and Akuma are battling head to head. The developer admits that in this game sequel, it will mark the end of the Mishima clan's battle for domination. It's going to be a big fight worth playing! But taking it as a hint, the crossover issues between the two games are quite obvious.

What makes "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" choose Akuma as the lead character is how and why he uses these weapons. Only few Tekken characters use these types of weapons, Akuma may look overpowering, but a gamer needs to wait till he finally gets to play the real game and make such judgments.

The new game is an upgrade to the vanilla original arcade version of what was released early this year. It's indeed possible that it will work with selected consoles, which is great as they get to receive better graphics and new characters.
