Newly-promoted club Watford FC (7-5-4, 25 points) will try to extend its three-game winning streak against a struggling Liverpool FC (6-4-6, 24 points) at the Vicarage Road this Sunday, December 20th in a 2015-2016 Premier League game.

Watford pulled off a 1-0 nipping of bottom three team Sunderland as they visited the Stadium of Light last Saturday, as per SkySports.

Striker Odion Ighalo scored the lone goal of the match at the fourth minute to net his 10th goal of the season in 16 appearances so far for the Hornets.

The win lifted Quique Sánchez Flores men to the seventh spot in the overall standings, only a point below the top contenders of this season's English top flight competitions.

Meanwhile, Liverpool settled for a 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion at the Anfield last Sunday, as reported by Sports Mole.

The Reds drew first blood with a goal from team captain Jordan Henderson at the 21st from a header by Adam Lallana off Philippe Coutinho's cross.

However, Baggies defender Craig Dawson managed to immediately equalize it nine minutes later to keep the score tied at the halftime break.

Another West Brom defender, Jonas Olsson, gave the lead to the Baggies at the 73rd, but Jürgen Klopp's young forward Divock Origi made a long-range shot in injury time to level the score and salvage the draw in Anfield.

The predicted result is a close win for Liverpool. Klopp and his boys avoided what would have been their first back-to-back losses with the new manager this season and will celebrate it with a victory against up-and-coming team Watford in this match.
