Former "The Bachelor" leading man Chris Soules believed that season 20's Ben Higgins will do a much better job than him this 2016. The reality star admitted that Higgins' decision to refrain from making out with the contestants will pay off in the long run.

In an interview with Extra, via Starpulse, Soules admitted that fans of the series were unhappy with him kissing a lot of women during his season. It was said that Higgins made the right decision of taking it slow.

In spite of his split with Whitney Bischoff, Soules still placed second in Entertainment Tonight's "Best and Worst Bachelors Of All Time." He only came behind Sean Lowe of season 17.

The outlet pointed out that there is a huge possibility that Higgins will claim the top spot after the series. Given that the network did not scrimp on the publicity, going as far as calling him the "Perfect Ben," expectations surely are running high.

Early this month, Soules, Lowe and Higgins had a quick dinner. Soules even shared a snap of the trio and posted it on his Twitter account. Insiders held that even before the season started, Soules had an intimate talk with Higgins, in which he shared some tips for the coming season.

"Prepare for the unexpected," Soules reportedly told Higgins.

Reality Steve previously hinted that season 20 is one of the hottest and craziest season to date in the Bachelor Universe. The outlet also shared that the season ended with an engagement.

"The Bachelor" season 20 premieres Jan. 4, 2016.
