Patrick Schwarzenegger's girlfriend Miley Cyrus has given her 14.5 million Instagram a controversial advice about masturbation and dealing with haters.

On Jan. 16, Friday, Cyrus took to Instagram to share a photo of a girl with her hand inside her short shorts and captioned it, "A masturbate a day keeps the haters away."

Recently, Australia choreographer Antony Ginandjar revealed that when he attended Cyrus' 22nd birthday, there were dildos displayed for guests to take home.

"It was crazy. I didn't see her topless but she had a pizza for a birthday cake. 'There was a wall of dildos that you could take home," Ginandjar told Daily Mail about the party, in which Cyrus and Schwarzenegger were seen together.

It appears that Cyrus' is indeed right with her advice to make masturbation a daily habit. "Sex Rx: Hormones And Your Best Sex Ever" author Dr. Lauren Streicher told The Huffington Post that masturbation really has health benefits for women.

According to Streitcher, who is also a Northwestern University Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, masturbation is good for the health because it helps achieve sound sleep and being more comfortable with the body and it also helps relieve stress.

Streitcher noted that masturbation is similar to getting a massage and working out because it is an effective way of relaxing physically and emotionally. Moreover, staying in and masturbating at home is free unlike an expensive massage.

Emotionally, masturbation improves mood as it creates a natural high as endorphins dopamine and oxytocin are released during orgasms, Streitcher explained. She added that through orgasms, tension is relieved physically and emotionally.
