The iPhone 6C, the upcoming 4-inch Apple iPhone is slated to release in April 2016. Its purported specs and features have surfaced.

An internal slideshow from China Mobile has mentioned that a 4-inch iPhone will arrive in April 2016, Gadgetz Arena reported citing a Chinese source. The iPhone 6C is said to be an upgraded edition of the iPhone 5S. However, it will not be sporting a polycarbonate body but will be arriving in metallic chassis and feature hardware components that are present inside iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphones.

The 4-inch screen of the iPhone 6C will carry support for 640 x 1136 pixels' resolution along with a pixel count of 325 ppi. The 3D Touch feature will remain exclusive to iPhone 6S and 6S Plus smartphones. Hence, the feature will not be available on the iPhone 6C.

It will be powered by Apple A9 chipset and 2 GB of RAM. For Apple Pay, the iPhone 6C will arrive with a Touch ID fingerprint scanner. The iSight camera of 8 MP will be present on the rear side of Apple iPhone 6C. There is no information on its front-facing camera.

The iPhone 6C will be available in color options like space gray, gold and silver. It won't be available in rose gold color. It will carry a price tag of 3000 Yuan ($463, according to current exchange rates).

Speculations are indicating that Apple will announce the iPhone 6C in March 2016 alongside other products like iPad Air 3 and Apple Watch 2, 9 to 5 Mac reported. The smartphone will be finally available for buying by April 2016.
