Many things are expected to change in Miss Universe 2016 after the controversial crowning moment of Miss Universe 2015. Here are some of the things that may happen:

1. Steve Harvey will be seen nowhere in the pageant.

2. A new host will be hired. It is either Perez Hilton or Tyra Banks, who both rooted for Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.

3. Wurtzbach will be given the chance to have her traditional walk as the new Miss Universe, which she was deprived of because of the gaffe committed by Harvey.

4. Because of the said gaffe, the traditional way of announcing the winner will be discarded. All the live audience members, the people watching at home and all the candidates will simultaneously  find out the name of Miss Universe 2016, which will be flashed on a big screen.

5. Filipino members of the live audience will boo Miss Germany. German fans, and other sympathizers, will cry foul.

6. International beauty pageant fans from all over the world will look closely to the candidates from the Philippines and from Colombia. It will be considered a rematch.

7. Miss Universe 2015 first runner-up Ariadna Gutierrez will be invited as a guest during the coronation night. She already speaks decent English and explains how she accepted what had happened during the previous pageant.

8. Some will laud Gutierrez for having moved on with grace and maturity while others will say it is another poor attempt of publicity stunt courtesy of Fox.

9. There will be a more diversified panel of judges: an American, an African, a European and an Asian.

10. Wurtzbach and Gutierrez will crown Miss Universe 2016 together.
