A supposed sneak peek into Apple's research and development has suddenly turned into a mine of what avid fans can expect from the company in the forthcoming years.

According to Cult of Mac, the Cupertino-based corporation gave fans a short trip in the top-secret Jony Ive's design studio during "60 Minutes." Some excited and keen fans spotted what could be the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016. The gadget surfaced during a very brief moment, when Apple was holding its weekly dealership meeting.

The MacBook, which was rather new in design based on its 15-inch measurement, was perceived in the background behind Apple Inc.'s general counsel Bruce Sewell.

Avid fans believe the sneak peek displays the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 because it is bigger than the current 12-inch one. Furthermore, the 12-inch laptop has a slimmer body than the upcoming 15-inch. The sneak peek revealed a Jupiter wallpaper on the display of the laptop, which is similar to what the company has been using to promote the latest iPad Pro.

Last March, the Cupertino-based tech giant announced that a new MacBook will hit the shelves equipped with a Retina Display. The new laptop will launch sometime in March 2016, according to Day Herald. The release is possible given Apple's tradition of unveiling new MacBooks during the spring season every year.

Meanwhile, other rumors circulating online indicate that the 15-inch variant will be launched during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which is scheduled for June 2016.

These conflicting reports not only focus on the upcoming MacBook Pro but also other Apple devices. While it may seem unlikely that Apple would just unveil an unreleased device, tech buffs are excited to speculate and thoroughly go through the clip.
