"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 cast member Mayim Bialik recently revealed what went down behind the scenes of Amy and Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) first ever coitus experience.
On her Grok Nation blog, the actress revealed that she and Parsons actually exchanged text messages before and after "The Opening Night Excitation" aired on Thursday night.
"In case you're curious, Jim and I texted before and after the episode aired as well as tagging each other beforehand on Instagram. It's like we made a baby and everyone got to see it for the first time tonight!" she said.
Meanwhile, Bialik also revealed that there were several scenes from the episode that she came up with during the actual filming.
In the midseason finale, Amy told Sheldon to shut his mouth so they could actually start having sex.
"It was the first time I did it, as it was in the scene where I shout it with the girls on the landing. I'm often asked if things like that 'It's a tiara!!!' or 'Pass the butter' are directed or instinctual. These were all instinct, including 'Shut your damn mouth!' same with 'Let's get me waxed!'" she said.
In other news, Bialik is general happy with how the fans reacted after seeing her special episode with Parsons.
Although she knew that the press and fans were already talking about their intimate moment even before it aired, Bialik was still surprised at how fans saw the episode fun and not offensive.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 will return to CBS on Jan. 7, 2016 at 8 p.m. ET.
