Both Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have not yet announced an official release date for the PC version. However, it is officially rumored that the PC edition of "Rise of the Tomb Raider" will surface sometime early 2016. Previously, a listing for the game's PC version on Amazon France via IGN indicated that "Rise of the Tomb Raider" would launch on Jan. 29, 2016.

Sometime last year, there was confusion as to whether "Rise of the Tomb Raider" would ever reach the non-Xbox platform. The game was announced at Gamescom as an Xbox exclusive, but the console boss Phil Spencer later cleared the air that it was merely a timed exclusive, implying it could make it to other consoles after an unspecified period.

Meanwhile, "Rise of the Tomb Raider" has had its Steam page released before the launch on PCs, which will be in January is the release window provided on the same page turns out true. It is not surprising for the game to come on PC, especially after its launch on Xbox One and Xbox 360 this past holiday.

Amazon had initially listed a January launch date for the game's PC version, but it was changed to a placeholder date in March. Although this seems to confirm a January release, fans should stayed tuned for the official announcement from Square Enix or Crystal Dynamics.
