On the 20th anniversary of Pokemon franchise, Pokemon's original trading card game will have a comeback in Japan in February.
The first edition of Pokemon trading and collectible card reprise includes the 60-card set which will revive the 1966 edition. The original characters including the design will remain, according to Wired.
Aside from the 60-card Pokemon base set, the package includes the TCG coin marker and a rulebook and manual guide for the game players and collectors.
While there are still no official announcement regarding the international release, Japan is waiting for have to release of the Pokemon collectible set in the market.
The Pokemon trading card starter set is just one of the upcoming events for the two-decade celebration of the Pokemon franchise. The sale will be on Feb. 27.
The 20th celebration will also be participated by Nintendo with games being ready to release this year. Moreover, Pokemon Go is one of the most awaited games available for smartphones the Pokemaniacs await.
The price of the trading card starter set amounts to 1,300 yen ($10.80), according to iDigital Times, while the Pokemon play mat is 5,000 yen ($41.50) and the Pokemon card shields is 715 yen ($5.94).
Aside from the collectibles and video games, this year's Pokemon celebration also includes the upcoming Pokemon films, with Volcanion and Zygarde as the main focus of the movie plot.
